MICA MIAMI MASTERS TOURNAMENT The Sunday Rated Miami Masters is a 4 Round action chess tournament (Game 30). If you have any questions about the event or if you want to donate please contact us. The tournament is open for all players. Entry fee for GM/IM is free and nothing will be deducted from any prize the GM may win. Registration will be open at 1:00.

Tournaments are held every week and lessons are available at various levels. Members include about 25 people with USCF ratings above 2000. Among them are a Grand Master, an International Master, 10 FIDE Masters and 8 USCF Masters. We also have 130 members that cover Class A, B and C, including 50 student players 18 and younger. THE MIAMI SHARKS ENTER US CHESS LEAGUE

The Miami Sharks Dream Team will enter the US Chess League (www.uschessleague.com) where they will compete against seven other strong teams for the top honors of the country in this team competition. The Miami Sharks roster is composed by: GM Julio Becerra, IM Blas Lugo, FM Marcel Martinez. These exciting matches will be played from MICA and they will take place over the internet. The other seven cities are also bringing in very good teams so be ready for some MIAMI ACTION!!

MICA FIDE Tournament July MICA FIDE Tournament RESULTS Available now !! Miami FIDE Tournaments   1. 5 Rounds (GAME 90). 2. Tournament begins at 8:30 pm. 3. FIDE rules will be used. 4. Regular entrance fee is $ 60.00 for UR ($ 30.00 for FIDE). 5. You may request ONE half point bye BEFORE the tournament begins, and only for rounds 1 or 4. 6. Prizes will be awarded under the following formula: 1st 250.00, 2nd  150.00 and 3r $ 100.00.  We shall take 70% of the entry fees and divided.
