Scholastic Grand Prix Chess Tournament

Basic school
team rules:
School team will consist at least 3 players however, each team will be
scored based on the result of the best 4 players on the particular
category.
The same principle will apply for the prizes at the end of the 7
tournament series. Instead we will choose the best 5 scores from each
school.
There is not limit to the number of student that can participate in each
category. At the end select the top best 4 results will be selected. |

Basic individual rules:
Students are allowed to play in a higher category if they wish. For
example if a child is a 3rd grader but he/she wishes to play in k5, they
are allowed to do so.
There will be individual trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
and 5th in each of the
tournament for individual best score. In the same manner as school
teams, individual players will be allowed to obtain the top ten results
for the final standing. |
